Well...Barry's first day at DHY was a huge success!!! He was so excited by all of the new gadgets he gets to play with...although he has to wear a helmet if he's moving any quads or motorcycles even just a few feet...which doesn't make his hair happy at all! :) Aside from thinking thats geeky...he loved it! Packed his lunch but brought it home because they get a great discount from The Meat Stop...he might just be in HEAVEN! So, I'm having yesterday's turkey & cheese sandwich for lunch today!
Brandon loves the blog...wants to write an entry for me to share with all of you this weekend! :) He was gorgeous in his St. Patrick's Day t-shirt this morning! School is closed tomorrow (the poor kid has it rough...will have to spend the entire day with his all time favorite human POP POP!) so they're celebrating today! He was so excited! He loves a party...must be genetic!
Kate is her usual precocious self...ate almost an entire can of corn for dinner last night...that's also genetic- it comes from her Great Grandpop Thompson! No meal is complete without 5 veggies in his world!
Katie wanted us to know that she YUVS Ganmom (that's how she says it!) Thompson- wouldn't stop talking about Grandmom coming to school...it didn't happen yesterday (she does get lucky & Grandmom gets her every now & then) but she insisted that it did. Brandon wants to argue the facts with her (maybe he'll be a lawyer...who farms for fun) but Barry & I just agree with her...it's much easier! LOL!! Her stubbornness...it's all me! :)
As for me...looking forward to a fabulous Friday night out with my girls. Heading to the Swedes to enjoy a little Laura Cheadle with Mooshie & Red!
I'm not looking forward to the stinky weather that's supposedly coming our way...I've got flowers popping up in my garden...which prompted Barry to send his very first text message ever in life...TO ME! He took a picture of the one beautiful little purple flower & sent it to me in a message...I called him to tell him how cute it was that he finally figured out how to send a text message after years of listening to me text at all hours of the day & night! He laughed his beautiful, full on hysterical laugh (like the one he had when I told him Brandon would be coming in 9 months!) & said,"Now you can't say I don't send you flowers at work!" I laughed so hard at his sense of humor that it made me cry...this is the man I love...I'm so lucky to have him!!!
